Dog Fight

The intel had been mistaken. As the Cavellaro came through the gate, fighters firing out from it’s dock in a blitz, it was met with a security force about to pass through. Though they were outnumbered, the Gold Star Wasps were a prepared military force facing infants to combat. Explosions and shrapnel lit up the quiet dark like fireworks as a cacophony of dog fights erupted. At a great cost, Gérôme and the saboteurs were able to seize the gate’s control station. Connecting to the receiver Kansas had implanted, they were able to take control of the entire gate system. In a matter of moments the entire connected galaxies had been brought to a halt.
